Burrr!! It’s freezing!! I figured it was warming up considering that it has been in the high 60s low 70s during the day, and 50s at night. Last night it dropped down to 33*F, which made it 48*F inside the van. I was not expecting that so I didn’t layer up nor grab a spare blanket or fleece to sleep with. Woke up at 6:00am shivering. Grabbed some layers and warmed back up. Didn’t fall back asleep till after 9. Bianca made breakfast this morning (rare occasion) and we’re off to conquer the day. Arriving at the gym to get that out of the way first. I used to watch triple ds (Diners, Drive in’s, and Dives) and take notes of some of the amazing places he goes to. I added a bunch of locations to my list of places to stop. There was a spot here in San Antonio called Henry’s Puffy Tacos. We had to stop by. Who in the world doesn’t like tacos!?! They were pretty damn good. The shell was definitely different then I’ve have ever seen. Puffy and a crunchy outer layer. Definitely worth the stop and I would recommend finding yourself a puffy taco when strolling through San Antonio. We were supposed to stay the night in San Antonio and walk around the River Walk buttt that didn’t happen. We want to get to Big Bend and spend more time there, so we hit I-10 West. There’s this place that is a replica of Stonehenge in Ingram TX. that I wanted to catch the sunset at. But there was one problem. Leaving Henrys puffy tacos the GPS said that we will arrive at 6:36, but the sunset was at 6:04. So pedal to the metal and we were gone! There was the most beautiful sunset I’ve seen in a while driving down the I-10. By the time we finally made it to the Stonehenge the amazing colors were pretty much nonexistent. We were like 15 minuets late! Oh well. Maybe next time. Calling it a night. Tomorrow we will see if we can make it to Big Bend!!
