Its the day to hike to the highest peak in Texas. The Guadalupe Peak in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It is a strenuous 8.4 mile out and back trail. Took us 2 hours and 50 minutes to reach the summit, had a nice lunch break with beautiful views then, 1 hour hour 40 minutes to get back down. All in all I enjoyed the hike. Breath taking views for the last mile or so as you walk along side cliffs. After we completed to hike we were exhausted, the last thing I wanted to do was drive to El Paso TX. go to Walmart buy something for dinner and cook (since we are all out of food to eat) so we Yelped a place to eat. We found this little mom and pop Burger shop in El Paso called Kahlo Kitchen, that makes gourmet burgers with Mexican twist. I had the On the Border Burger which had Avocado, Grilled ham, Wennies, Bacon, Salsa Verde, some type of cheese, and of coarse a burger patty, all stacked on this freshly baked bun. It was to die for! Absolutely amazing! Spending the night in El Paso and most likely spending the day here and relaxing.

Having lunch break near the summit of Guadalupe peak.
