January 22nd 2018, the start of my written blog. We woke up in a town in between Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, TX. called Temple. We had only really one thing that had to be done today. This one thing is something everyone hates doing. Do you know what this one thing is? Yup, it’s laundry! We started the day off slow and relaxed as Bianca uploaded her vlog to YouTube. We then left Temple, TX. and headed south to Round Rock in search of a coin laundry. After the wait was over, we went to a Planet Fitness where we go for our daily workouts and showers. After our workout and showers we proceeded heading south towards Austin and stopped at a coffee shop to borrow their “Free WiFi”, as we let the rush hour traffic die down heading in and out the city. Making a pit stop at this place called Muller Sunflowers where they have these large solar panel sculptures shaped as flowers. Get it “sunflowers”. Solar panel flowers… They light up at night and we took a few pictures with them. Weren’t really impressed considering there were 10 or so flowers and one light up constantly, while 2 more would turn on and off. Driving past the city we made a quick stop at this little park off of the Colorado River to get a night time shot and view of Downtown Austin with the reflection of the lights from the buildings on the river. Peaceful and relaxing. Started to get a bit nippy out there so we called it a night. We are now off to find a place we call home (80% of the time). Walmart. Walmart has served us great to park for the night. They have anything and pretty much everything you’ll need from asparagus to motor oil. Usually open 24 hours, so we have a clean restroom at all times. It’s time to take out our portable propane BBQ, grill some chicken, boil some rice and enjoy the rest of our night. Not sure what’s on the list for tomorrow. Either we spend the day in Austin or head towards San Antonio, TX.
Good night all.
