Now that we sold the business we had a little cash to start the build for our new camper van home. We originally wanted an old VW van, like the hippies back in the days, but we decided to get something a little newer and bigger since we both are a bit cluttersome. We went on to ponder that a Chevy or Ford cargo van would work for us. Becoming picky or spoiled at this point, we wanted something that we can stand up fully erect with no problems, and realizing a diesel engine will outlast a gas engine. We increased our budget for the van and decided on a Dodge Sprinter! In our personal opinion the Sprinter was the best choice to convert into an RV. The Diesel engine when taken care of and regular maintenance performed will last over a million miles. And with up to 24 MPG nearly doubling what a gas engine van will do will pay for its self in the long run. Tons of room for a full size bed, kitchenette and more! It was a no brainer!
