What to Pack.
Before we hit the road we were wondering what items we would need and what items would be useless. There is not enough storage to bring everything in your house, nor can you always have full size items that you are used to having. Heres a list of items that we have found useful in living the Van Life.
Cooking
We were originally using a 2 burner propane stove and found these nifty little bad boys. They seem to be more efficient and more compact. They take little butane cans and they snap right into place.
We found these small pots and pans to be pretty handy. It comes with 2 small pans, and to small pots. They all fit inside each other and the handles fold in to make them store real compact.
I have always liked grilled food. Whether it be grilled chicken, burgers, steak, or sausage you can throw it on this little grill. Being that we use it for 75% of our dinners I would suggest packing a portable propane grill. These runs of 1 lbs propane tanks and they also sell a hose to enable the use of a 20 lbs tank.
Personal care
These shower sandals are great for showering in public showers. They are antimicrobial, have non slip soles and the soles have little holes in them to drain any water that would collect on them
