We all know that the maintenance on a Mercedes can be a little meticulous. Although our van is labeled as a Dodge Sprinter, there is nothing Dodge about it (except the emblem). Our van was built in Germany.
For the simplest maintenance you do, specific approved fluid is still needed.
Roo being a retired FedEx van with 197k miles on it, we wanted to ensure all the fluids and filters were refreshed and ready for the road!
Below are the tasks and procedures we did to get the van ready for a really long road trip.
- Engine Oil Change
- Radiator and Engine coolant flush and fill
- Air Filter
- Rear Shocks
- Cabin Air filter
- Check/Inspect Fuel injectors
- Diesel fuel filter
