January 25th (Unable to post due to no signal)
It’s 6:55 am and the alarm is ringing! Time to get up to chase that sunrise! Looking to get a really cool shot of the jagged mountain range. Hoping to have a nice colorful sunrise in Big Bend. Welp that didn’t happen. Obstructed by the clouds. Coming back to the camping area so we can cook breakfast, fill up and dump our water tanks. We weren’t really in the mood to do any hikes today, so we just did a few scenic drives. Everything in Big Bend is far apart. So we spent pretty much the whole day driving. Pretty interesting terrain for sure. We after the soon went down we meet up with a couple we met on Instagram for a few beers. They were pretty cool, and have been traveling the country for 2 years. It was nice to meet others who do the same.
