February 9th
Spent the day at Diablo Canyon. 30 minuets or 8 miles from where I was parked yesterday. This spot is pretty neat, except there’s no phone signal anywhere. I would of liked to have phone signal in case of an emergency since I am by myself. Anyways the Diablo Canyon is a recreation area that has a trail down the canyon, multiple rock climbing trails up the canyon, and it even has maybe 10 or so free campsite with fire pits and one huge group campsite right in the middle. I walked down the canyon trail and watched a few people rock climbing. I gotta say that looks pretty intense. Didn’t do much else until sunset, to grab a frame of Diablo Canyon with the sunset clouds. Came out decent.
After the sun set I made dinner and waited for it to be completely dark out and the stars out. Which was only around 7:30. I shot off 2 different sequences at 50 minuets a piece. Gonna either make a time lapse or star trails depending what looks better. Spending the night here. Let’s see what’s in store for tomorrow
